Psychological Safety and Inclusion Training

ØRSTED

The challenge

Safety is more than physical safety

Working for Ørsted, you talk and think about safety all the time. But it is typically the physical safety that gets all the attention – even though being safe is just as much about everyone’s psychological safety at work.

At Ørsted, everyone should feel empowered and confident enough to speak up if something feels wrong or unsafe. Disasters like oil spills or plane crashes have historically happened because people worked in a culture where they were afraid to speak up.

The solution

Relatable learning

By making the digital learning module relatable to daily work life and including practical tips and suggestions for dealing with bullying, discrimination, and harassment on-site, we hope to make it easier to speak up and intervene if employees see or hear something wrong. So that everyone can feel included, respected, appreciated, and acknowledged at their workplace.

Amazing!! I am extremely proud of the work achieved with this team, and it’s a very good step towards promoting a more inclusive and safe environment.

The value

Inspiration to take safety seriously

We have helped Ørsted create a digital learning module that aims to inspire and motivate Ørsted employees and contractors to take psychological safety just as seriously as physical safety on site.

We are very pleased with the module's content and the key messages conveyed.
